SIMC Annual Meeting and Potluck

Here is the budget to review before the meeting. Paul will go over it and answer any questions at the meeting.

For anyone who is unable to attend the Annual Meeting in person, we will have a Zoom-In option. Here is the Zoom link to connect.

Much Gratitude for all your Generosity

Your SIMC Board is very moved by the support of so many - from our generous financial donors who get our bills paid, to our sweet house cleaners, dedicated yard manager, dedicated house manager, those who show up for yard clean-up days, our two devoted librarians, our committed sit leaders and outreach liaisons, our hardy snow shovelers, caring meal-train deliverers, and of course all who show up for meditations, retreats, meetings, and classes. Know that each one of you, including those who are no longer here with us have infused the SIMC Sangha with love and care and made it what it is. So many who come here do find refuge, do find the sweetness and genuine care that is our community. We sincerely thank each and every one of you for making SIMC the truly special gem that it is.

Board Retreat - Calling for Input

Your SIMC Board will be having our annual board retreat in January. With this in mind, we are asking if there are items you may want us to discuss. If you have ideas, questions, feedback, or concerns for us, please send an email to Sangha@salidasangha.org. You can also bring this to us at our Annual Meeting or leave a note in our Suggestions Box in the Sangha house kitchen.

Online New Year's Retreat

With Liz Powell and Denise Ackert

Dec 31, 2024 (9am - 11:59pm) - Jan 1, 2025 (8:45am 3:00pm)

In this retreat, we’ll attune to the body, heart and mind, nourishing the depth of compassion and the joy of wholesomeness. Through this renewal, we can bring benefit to ourselves and the world.

There will be meditation instructions, sitting and walking meditation, and dharma talks. This retreat is open to both experienced practitioners and those new to the practice.
